Golf ball liner / alignment tool - putting aid - Version 1.0
Improving your putting skills is the fastest and easiest way to lower your scores.
Having trouble hitting putts on line?
Not sure what's causing all those misses?
Frustrated your putting practice isn't helping lower your scores?
Features / Benefits of this alignment tool:
- Using the long line on the ball, it becomes much easier to make sure your feet, knees, hips & shoulders are square to your line, greatly increasing your chances of starting the ball on your intended line.
- If your putter has an alignment line on top, it becomes much easier to make sure your putter is square at address, helping improve your chances of returning back to square at impact.
- As you watch the ball roll, if the line rolls line over line, you know you made a good stroke. If the line "wobbles", then you know the putter wasn't square to your intended line at impact.
- Using a distinct color marker is an easy way to help identify your golf ball.
- Due to parallax issues, it's easy to misalign the top line at initial placement. Having the 2 short lines perpendicular to the long line makes initial placement more accurate and helps reduce wear and tear on your knees and back from having to bend down to readjust.
- To further compound the parallax issues, most golfers do NOT see the intended target line correctly when they put their eye line directly over the golf ball. The line on the ball helps prevent those last second adjustments while standing over the ball. Because the parallax "distortion" is undoing all those efforts to get the right line & alignment, and those late adjustments are causing putts not to drop.
- By gaining confidence from learning to trust your read & alignment, now you can focus on hitting the ball with the right pace. I can't stress this last point enough. Because once you eliminate 2 of the 3 putting variables, it really does become easier to put a confident stroke on your putt.
Once you learn how to use this tool correctly, you'll quickly learn how to identify: was it a bad stroke, a bad read or bad speed. Because once you know where most of your issues are coming from, you can focus your practice time to help you become a better putter and start lowering those scores!
How to use:
This item slips easily over the golf ball and is easy to move in to your desired location for marking the ball. Use a permanent marker of your preferred color to fill in the lines on your ball. Use the long alignment line to aim at your desired target and use the 2 little lines to make sure the long line is top dead center. Now step in there and put a confident stroke on that putt!
